Vasiliki D. Stoumbos, M.D.
Dr. Stoumbos practices comprehensive ophthalmology for patients of all ages. She has extensive experience in surgical procedures for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, strabismus and eyelid conditions.
Born and raised in Portland, Dr. Stoumbos received her M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She returned to Portland to complete residencies in internal medicine and ophthalmology at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Stoumbos is board certified in ophthalmology and internal medicine. With Medical Teams International, she has provided eye care to patients in Mexico and Honduras, and for patients in Guatemala with Hospital de la Familia.
When she is not working, Dr. Stoumbos enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, including traveling, hiking, and camping. Other interests include cooking, gardening and raising tropical fish, which our patients enjoy seeing in the Good Samaritan clinic. Dr. Stoumbos is an active member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral and participates in many church activities.
