Shari L. Mace, O.D.

Dr. Mace specializes in refractive surgery care and postoperative cataract surgery care. Working with surgeon Timothy Denman, M.D., she consults with and evaluates patients interested in refractive surgery and provides postoperative care and corneal rehabilitation. Dr. Mace also practices general optometry.

Dr. Mace studied chemistry at Colorado State University before earning a bachelor’s degree in visual science and a doctor of optometry degree with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry. Since 1996, she has worked as an advisor at Pacific University’s Vision Clinics and been an examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. She joined Oregon Eye Specialists in 1999.

Married to fellow optometrist Stephen Olsen, Dr. Mace has two teenage children attending school in Lake Oswego. She enjoys photography, gardening and an active family life.
